Dear Fellow Liberals,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for participating in the Nomination Process in Don Valley West. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me, speak with me over the telephone, and/or email me about the issues and values that we all share as Liberals. It was a great honour to be invited by so many of you into your homes; it was wonderful to truly feel part of our great Liberal family once again.
I would also like to thank all of the people who supported me for the nomination. I would specially like to thank my family, friends and an incredibly loyal group of volunteers for their unwavering commitment and belief in me. I would also like to thank my former colleagues and friends for their endorsements and support. I will remain forever indebted to all of you for your support.
I would also like to congratulate all the other candidates for participating in the nomination race. It demonstrates that not only is democracy live and well in Don Valley West, but it also shows that the Liberal brand is very strong in DVW.
Last but not least, I would like to congratulate Rob Oliphant on winning the nomination.
I would encourage everyone who participated in the nomination process to continue their engagement with the Party to ensure that Rob Oliphant becomes the next federal Liberal M.P. from DVW. As the current Liberal logo so correctly states, we are indeed "stronger together".
I look forward to continuing to work with and for the Liberal Party of Canada and to working with all of you in the future to pursue our common Liberal goals and values.
